Since qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist I have worked for the National Health Service in London, providing outpatient, day hospital and inpatient services for adults with a wide range of organic and functional difficulties as well as working for charitable organisations providing neuro-rehabilitation services (assessment and treatment/rehabilitation) for young adults with acquired brain injuries. In addition I currently run my own private practice ‘Private Psychology’, with consulting rooms located in Surrey.
As a Chartered Clinical Psychologist trained in a variety of psychological models I tend to work in an integrative manner however, my preferred practised therapeutic approaches include cognitive-behavioural therapy, systemic therapy, neuropsychology, neuro-rehabilitation, ACT, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and EMDR.
I hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and am on the British Psychological Society’s register of Chartered Psychologists and the Health Professional Council’s register. I also have an MSc in Organisational Psychology from City University and have completed the Institute of Psychiatry diploma in Neuropsychology as well as The Prudence Skinner Family Therapy Centre certificate in the Foundations of Systemic Practice. I have also completed numerous courses as part of my continuing professional development.
